So this is a little homemade remedy I made with an infusion of mountain cranberries and the eye of the tiger…
- Dettol wipes.
Really. I’ve tried all sorts of other baby wipes (you know, those wet wipes they sell in the baby/cosmetic section in local supermarkets) but all others have proved to be too wet, leaving you worried about whether the liquid would seep into your keyboard and destroy your mechanical best friend. Dettol wet wipes, however, are just moist enough to really do the job.
Just a gentle, light touch makes all the stains go away on your keyboard. To keep the technicality of this post, I will structure a procedure:
- Step 1: take out one wet wipes. (i.e. be careful, you don’t want to pluck out the entire lot).
- Step 2: Wipe gently on all visibly dirty areas of your computer.
- Step 3: Go through and between the keyboard.
- Step 4: Smile.
This dry dettol solution works on your screen too! It’s dry yet moist enough.

And because you know that Dettol (apparently) kills 99.9% of all germs (!), you know that you are cleaning your hands of transmissible bacteria as well. Hurrah.

So yeah. Your welcome. I am a good human being.
